Designed specifically for single riders of all ability levels, the Performance Tour offers the ideal setting for high alpine riding near Breckenridge.

From first-time snowmobilers to experienced riders, this 2-hour trip will take you well above tree line and beyond the groomed trails into Colorado’s most spectacular terrain!

Two-Hour Performance Snowmobile Tours at Fremont Pass feature the highest guided snowmobiling that the Breckenridge, Colorado area has to offer! Climbing to an elevation of 12,800 feet atop the Continental Divide, Performance Tours reward snowmobilers of all abilities with an abundance of powder riding in high alpine meadows and bottomless mountain bowls.

Performance Tours begin with a brief tutorial covering the operation of your snowmobile’s handling and features, followed by a ride up a forested trail system to the open bowls and meadows of the Continental Divide. Upon entering the above timberline riding area, you’ll be treated to massive vistas of Colorado’s highest 14,000-foot mountain peaks.

Snowmobiling at Fremont Pass is spectacular with over 4,000 acres of terrain to explore and almost limitless opportunities to bank turns off the surrounding mountainsides. The wide-open nature of this terrain allows riders more room to explore, along with opportunities to blaze their own trails through untouched powder.

Performance Tours culminate at the “Top of the World”, located over 2 miles in elevation above sea level. This Breckenridge Snowmobiling Tour is two hours in length and is designed for single riders only, making it the perfect trip for parties consisting of adults and children over the age of 15.

Multiple tour times are offered with departures at 9:00 am, 12:00 pm, and 3:00 pm daily.

Additional Information

  • We highly recommend that all guests arrange for 4-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive rental vehicles for their transportation needs. Winter roads in Colorado are frequently snow-covered. Please plan accordingly and allow for additional travel time during periods of snowy weather.
  • Please note that transportation to and from the snowmobile base camps is not provided. Guests must provide their own transportation for all guided rides and rentals.
  • Snowmobile tours are offered every day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
  • A credit card imprint, serving as a damage deposit, is required on all Colorado Snowmobile Tours.
  • Drivers must be 15 years of age (with a valid learner’s permit) in order to drive a snowmobile.
  • A signed liability waiver for personal injury is required prior to all tour departures.
  • All Breckenridge Snowmobiling Tours have a 48-hour cancellation policy.
